Adoption Timeline

• 2009ish-Feeling some stirrings in our hearts that we should consider adoption.
• September 2011-Attended a conference focused on fostering and adopting, sirring in our hearts turns to a confirmation that adopting was what we are called to do. Decide officially to pursue international adoption.
• November 2011-Pre-application submitted and approved!
• December 2011-Formal application submitted.
• January 2 2012-Formal application approved!
• February 2012-working on home study documents. There are alot of them!!
• April 2012-still working on paperwork. Homestudy paperwork almost done, dossier paperwork almost done. Waiting on things out of our hands.
• May 4th 2012-Home visit DONE in one visit! Getting closer!!
• June 6th 2012-recieved final copy of home studies in the mail.
• June 7th 2012-Mailed USCIS form I-600A-fingerprinting appointments are next!!
• June 22 2012-recieved notice from our agency that we can submit our Dossier prior to having our fingerprinting appt. Yay!
• June 28th 2012-Dossier approved!! Officially on the waitlist!! # 143 Girl, #122 Boy, #61 siblings, age parameters 0-12 months.  
• July 25 2012-recieved FDL, but it had the wrong name!! called for correction.
• August 3 2012-Recieved corrected FDL!! and # 127 girl, #109 boy, # 51 siblings!!! SO much movement this month!!
• August 10th-FDL recieved by AGCI-portland. Next stop-Ethiopia!!
• August 30th 2012-#121 girl, #103 boy, # 49 siblings. FDL is in Ethiopia!
• September 28th 2012- #117 Girl, #101 boy, #47 siblings.
• October 31st 2012 #116 Girl, #100 Boy, # 50 siblings.
• November 30 2012 #110 Girl, #96 boy(yay for double digits!), #48 siblings.
• December 31 2012 #108 girl, #93 boy, #47 siblings
• January 31 2013 #107 girl, #91 boy. Updated our parameters to include 0-30 months either gender, no siblings.
• March 30 2013-OOPS missed February #'s! March waitlist #'s are 103 girl, 88 boy.
• April 30th 2013-#103 girl, #86 boy. praying for movement. praying, praying.
